ImpressCMS team asked me last week if I'll be willing to have an "aphex's themes forum" on Impress's community site.
After considering the advantages our visitors will have, I agreed and so I am pleased to announce that Aphex's Themes will be joining The SmartFactory and Mr. Theme on ImpressCMS with their own forums.
Forums on our site will still be available users can post wherever they see fit.
Why is this happening?
Well first reason will be that I can't really ask other people to register on my site and provide support when I'm not able to for a number of reasons, while having the support forums on larger community site anyone can step up and answer your question about whatever issue you are experiencing with a theme or template.
Second reason will be that forums here aren't really used yet people are using the contact form or private messages system to ask me about whatever issue. Do you see me releasing a theme by contacting people on pm and or sending e-mails to all XOOPS or ImpressCMS powered sites?
If support forums are on ImpressCMS's site, what happens to XOOPS users?
Lets try the other way around...If an issue is addressed on XOOPS's site what happens to ImpressCMS users? Well XOOPSers have been asking for support using the comments system or forum on xoops.org from the beginning so it shouldn't be any problem, I'll answer to issues wherever they are asked.
Does this mean you quit XOOPS?
NO, it only means that support forums will not function on this site anymore .

You've been a valuable member of the communities for a long time now, I just love your work.
I think it's also important to state that if any XOOPSers want support, even if it's not ImpressCMS related but theme related, they would still be welcome to post and ask they're questions at ImpressCMS.
